I have passed by Las Mananitas many a time, but never really seemed to think anything of it. I have had many friends say it was excellent so we finally had to go check it out. First on the agenda was to have a margherita, so I opted for their top shelf Grand Marnier, it was nice an potent. The red salsa is very good, a bit hot for the rest of the family, but just right for me, it had a bit of a roasted flavor. I always like to try the queso, so that was next, it was okay, it almost tasted like they just put a bit of queso seasoning in some melted Velveeta and threw in some ground beef, not too impressed with the queso. I ordered the Fajitas Mexicanos, (for one, normally I get for two), they were actually quite flavorful. To top it all off I got the Tres Leches, and was quite impressed, a lot of the time you get tres leches and it is often dry, I like my tres leches very moist and it was!

We have heard lots of good things about this restaurant but have never tried it till this past weekend. The food was so good! The green salsa was yummy the red salsa was really hot, too much for me but still good and I kept eating it! I ordered the carne asada which I wasn't sure about because I have had it at other restaurants and it wasn't that great. This one was perfect. The meat was not tough and the flavor was great. I did order a margarita and I am sad to say I couldn't finish it! It was yummy but boy was it strong! I also got the tres leches which looked so good and it was a huge piece for $3.50! It was the best tres leches I have had in a long time! I really enjoyed Las Mananitas and I will definitely be going back very soon!

The food was great, I had taco al carbon one beef one chicken with rice and beans. It tasted great. The prices were reasonable. The service was excellent. Nice atmosphere for our first time visit. I will be going there again.

We were brought chips and green sauce which was yummy and tasted very similar to the green sauce at Gringos and the red salsa was good but a little too hot for me. I ordered the Katy dinner. It had one cheese enchilada,a taco, fajitas, beans, and rice for 9.99. It was delicious, the portions were very perfect, and it was just the right temperature. The waiter was very consistent and friendly. Also had the tres leches cake which was only 3.50 and it was a very large piece. It was delicious not dry at all. I will definitely eat there again and maybe try the 9.99 margarita that my daughter had and couldn't finish because it was strong and gigantic.
