We always forget that Black Eyed Pea is around, not sure why, but we do. We decided to stop in for dinner on May 10, 2010. I had the meatloaf with broccoli and cheese casserole, and with of course black eyed peas. The food was great. I love their meatloaf the flavor is awesome. My 4 year old had macaroni and cheese. He really liked it as well. My husband has southwest casserole and I tasted his and it was yummy. All the food was great. The atmosphere was kind of dull not alot of excitement and barely anyone was there. Our waitress was not very good. Didn't seem like she was glad we sat at her table. She took forever to get refills and when she asked if we wanted more she acted like she was shocked we were still thirsty. Also before our food came we had their very yummy rolls. My husband asked for some small plates. There was 3 of us eating bread and she gave us two plates and then grabbed a third off the table behind us that wasn't wiped down and there was a lady sitting there earlier who was coughing. YUCK! Get a clean plate for your customers! We will probably go back soon just really hoping for a new waitress, because the food really is pretty good!
